Family Fall Activities Around South Florida


Fall is finally here and while that may not mean much temperature wise in South Florida, it does mean we can enjoy a slew of fall-themed activities. Read on for a list on fun family fall activities around South Florida.


Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash – This event will take place Sunday October 14th at the Miami Children’s Museum. It will feature theater performances, doughnut decorating, toddler room, character meet and greet and other activities. For tickets and more information visit

Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival – Because it just isn’t fall without pumpkins! In addition to the pumpkin patch, the festival will also feature a carnival, scarecrow village, cornstalk maze, food court, and pumpkin decorating. The festival will be open October 13th and 14th. Zoo Boo – Dubbed “South Florida’s Number One Trick-or-Treating event,” Zoo Miami’s Halloween event promises to have something for everyone. Kids 12 and under can trick-or-treat in costumes, participate in costume contests, make rafts, and of course, visit the zoo animals. The event takes place October 27th and 28th from 10am to 3pm. Monster Splash Halloween Bash – Miami Seaquarium’s annual Halloween event will take place October 26th, 27th, and 28th from 11am to 4pm. Kids will be able to enjoy trick-or-treating, shows, rides, inflatables, pumpkin patch and more. For tickets and further information go to



Tradewinds Park Fall Festival – Featuring a wide range of activities including crafts, bounce house, farm animals, train rides, hayrides, demonstrations and more. Harvest Festival at Flamingo Gardens – The event takes place all four weekends in October and will feature a different theme each weekend. Marando Farms & Ranch Fall Events – The family owned ranch in Davie is holding fall and Halloween themed events throughout October. On the 13th, 20th, and 27th, little ones can enjoy train rides, hayrides, pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting zoo, food, live music and more. Deerfield Beach Fall Festival – The 4th annual event will take place at Pioneer Park on Saturday October 20th from 12pm to 4pm. Kids can enjoy the hay maze, hayrides, petting zoo arts and crafts, pumpkin patch, live entertainment among other activities.
